FAKE LANDSCAPE

2022
Canary Islands, Dune du Pilat

Fake Landscape is a (digital) look at natural places that seem not to be.

It is a window on a planet that we seem to have never seen before, but which is the same one on which, at least once, we did not have the words to describe what we saw.

Fake Landscape was born in Lanzarote, among its volcanoes, but then continues in France, at the Dune du Pilat and remains an unfinished series of photos, still in progress. Fake Landscape is a color that we did not expect, an unnatural landscape. It’s the artifice of the human eye filtered by skepticism and a digital lens.

CRIANÇAS CARIOCAS

2023-2024
Praia da Macumba, Recreio, Rio De Janeiro (Brasil)

When the waves are too big to surf, the only thing possible is to burn your shoulders to take pictures of them.

This is what happened during a weekend getaway.

TIME WARP THROUGH BODIES

2022
Le Pin Sec

Time Warp Through Bodies (T.W.T.B.) represents the perception of time flowing through the bodies.
According to Einstein's Theory of Relativity, space and time deform in the vicinity of massive bodies, such as stars or planets,
or in the case of a body moving at such a high speed as to be comparable to that of light. Under such situations, space "shortens" and time "slows down".

T.W.T.B. it is an attempt to frame the illusion of space-time continuity.
The bodies talk to each other, they are in contact with the same wind that pushes the ocean waves onto the shore.
The moments are still but not static inside the portraits, we observe a moment that existed, not in that shot but in that moment and we are able to see it in its quick existence.
